2019 Pinot Noir, Barrel Select

The 2019 Barrel Select Pinot Noir is a blend constructed from top barrels from each of the vineyards from which Alma Rosa sources fruit, including their own El Jabali estate, as well as the Bentrock, Radian and Rancho La Viña vineyards. Winemaker Samra Morris hand-selected each component of the cuvée for its elegance and site-specific characteristics to craft a unique representation of Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir from the 2019 vintage. A dark ruby color in the glass, upon pouring, aromas of spice and herbs meet your nose. On the palate, flavors of cherries, blackberries and currants are married with well-integrated oak notes. Concentrated and firmly structured, this wine will develop gracefully with a few years of cellar age.
