Alma Rosa’s estate vineyard, El Jabali, was originally planted in 1983 by Richard Sanford. 2021 marks the second year producing Syrah and Grenache from the highest-elevation blocks of our estate vineyard. This exceptional blend of nearly equal parts Grenache and Syrah presents a deep ruby color with a hint of purple in the glass. Its aromatic profile harmoniously combines wildflowers, violets, blackberry, black currant, mint and a touch of pepper. On the palate, dark red fruit, sage and firm tannins intermingle, leading to a beautifully extended finish that is sure to leave a long-lasting impression
